Cemeteries

One of the world's great cemeteries, Cemeterio de la Recoleta is a 14 acre site in downtown Buenos Aires. It contains over 6,000 tombs and mausoleums, 70 of which are recognised as national monuments. The architecture is eclectic, from Greco Roman palaces to experiments in Romanticism.
